".Giffei", a new work by Masato Samata, will be released from Kinkan Publishing on February 1. To celebrate the release of the new work, Kinkan Gallery will hold a "Delawarehouse" exhibition by Masato Samata + Delaware from February 4 to February 20.
".Giffei" is an "edible" digital art collection, by reading the QR codes printed on the chocolates, you can watch and listen to colorful GIF movies and music (& more!) on your smartphone. The chocolates were created by A.K.Labo in Kichijoji and come in four flavors: almond, hazelnut, caramel, and raspberry." See it, hear it, eat it, melt it... and at the end, all you have is an empty box." This is a lovely collection of works that will remain only in your phone and your memory.
In "Delawarehouse", Masato Samata, the leader of the multimedia group "Delaware" and author of "Nobody Loves You", will exhibit his works from 1996 to the present. While savoring the new work ".Giffei" (reading the QR code before you eat it!), we hope you will also enjoy their activities so far. Please take this opportunity to see it.
