川口　祐 Yu Kawaguchi

1970年生まれ。2003年より主に東京を中心に作品発表を始める。2024年以降、大川祐から川口祐として活動する。絵画を主体としながらインスタレーション形式で、展示空間（建物含む）全体が作品となる。展示空間はホワイトキューブではなく、現実空間との「あわい」を意識した空間での発表を続けている。展示空間に鑑賞者が関わることで作品が完成していく、あるいは作品は未完のままとなる。

Born in 1970. He began exhibiting his works in 2003, mainly in Tokyo. Since 2024, has been active under the name Yu Kawaguchi, previously known as Yu Okawa. While focusing on paintings, his works are in the form of installations, with the entire exhibition space (including the building) being the work. He continues to exhibit his works in spaces that are not white cubes, but that are conscious of the "gap" with real space. The work is completed as the viewer becomes involved in the exhibition space. Or the work remains incomplete.
