嶋田 篤人 Atsuto Shimada

1989年千葉県生まれ。2011年東京工芸大学芸術学部写真学科修了。2011年から房総半島を撮影し、自身で現像・プリントをしたゼラチンシルバープリントの作品を制作し始める。主な活動として、個展「堰を切らぬ廐」（2016年、Pond Gallery、東京）、「待つ」（2018年、Alt_Medium、東京）、「そこ一里（#00）」（2021年、リコーイメージングスクエア、東京）、グループ展 PGI Summer Show 2019 "monoとtone"（2019年、PGI、東京）などがある。塩竈フォトフェスティバルポートフォリオレビュー特別賞（2011年）、ゼラチンシルバーセッションGSS フォトアワードグランプリ（2013年）など受賞。

Born in Chiba, Japan, in 1989, he graduated from the Tokyo Polytechnic University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography, in 2011. He began photographing the Boso Peninsula in Chiba in the same year, producing gelatin silver prints that he developed and printed himself. His main activities include solo exhibitions such as "Quiet Stable" (2016, Pond Gallery, Tokyo), "MATSU" (2018, Alt_Medium, Tokyo), "Soko Ichiri (#00)" (2021, Ricoh Imaging Square, Tokyo), and group exhibitions such as PGI Summer Show 2019 "mono/tone" (2019, PGI, Tokyo), among others. He has received numerous awards, including a special prize at the Shiogama Photo Festival Portfolio Review in 2011 and the Grand Prix at the Gelatin Silver Session GSS Photo Awards in 2013.
